However, learning about it and actually observing it are two different things. It’s clear that Anson Mount may not be leaving Star Trek: Strange New Worlds anytime soon, given that his character is set to experience Pike’s debilitating accident as the series progresses. For now, it appears that the actor intends to stay with the show for an extended period, and the confirmation of a Season 4 renewal makes me hopeful that we can enjoy him in the Captain’s role for several more years.
