As a devoted fan, I can’t help but get excited when I hear about Respawn Entertainment, the masterminds behind EA’s epic Star Wars Jedi series! And now, they’re joining forces with Bit Reactor to create an upcoming strategy game that promises to immerse us even deeper into the captivating Star Wars universe. Can’t wait to see what this dynamic duo has in store for us!

Anticipation builds as we approach Star Wars Celebration in Japan next year, where many believe a major unveiling will take place. Fans can’t help but wonder about the secret projects that Respawn Entertainment may have been developing.

Star Wars Jedi 3 Imminent?

While there’s a strong possibility that Star Wars Jedi 3 might be unveiled at Celebration, it seems a bit premature to expect its announcement next month considering that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was only released in 2019 and Survivor came out four years later in 2023. In other words, we’re not quite at the point where another game in the series would typically be revealed.

Given that the games might require several years to develop, it might still be premature for Respawn to unveil Star Wars Jedi 3, considering its potential release date in 2027. Showing a teaser could potentially put them in a difficult position if they fail to launch the game within the next year.

In essence, the situation with Star Wars: Hunters was somewhat similar to this: The game was initially unveiled in 2021, but it kept getting postponed which led to a decline in anticipation by the time it eventually launched in 2024. Now, it has been announced that Lucasfilm Games will be closing down Star Wars: Hunters come October.
