As a seasoned gamer and outdoor enthusiast with a penchant for fashionable footwear that stands up to the elements, I can’t help but appreciate the latest offering from Vans – the MTE Crosspath. Having braved countless winter storms in search of rare loot in my gaming escapades, I know all too well the importance of having gear that not only looks good but performs exceptionally well.
As October arrives, chilly weather and plenty of rain clouds are approaching. Luckily, brands like Vans are coming up with innovative solutions to tackle these elements. For instance, they’ve introduced their Made for The Elements (MTE) line once again. This California-born brand is launching a new style for Fall/Winter 2024 — the MTE Crosspath. It retains a familiar design while incorporating various performance features.
As a gamer, I’ve got to say, Vans didn’t just come up with the MTE Crosspath, they also crafted the MTE Crosspath Mid – another sick-looking sneaker for outdoor adventures. These bad boys are packed with classic Vans details like the Jazz Stripe, heel logo, and a midfoot stitched tag, but they crank things up a notch with seamless RAPIDWELD construction treated with a non-PFC DWR water-repellent coating, cushioned insoles, and a fresh new traction pattern. The colorways are on point too – the low-top comes in “Bitter Chocolate Brown” and “Grey,” while the MTE Crosspath Mid rocks “Blue” and “Purple.
If you’re intrigued, the Vans MTE Crosspath and MTE Crosspath Mid are currently up for grabs in several color options through Vans and selected retailers. They cost $130 USD and $140 USD respectively. Keep an eye out for further developments as Vans broadens its Made for The Elements collection with fresh, innovative designs.
