Stephen Collins Accuser Recalls Sexual Molestation By ‘7th Heaven’ Star in ID Series

In the premiere of Investigation Discovery’s documentary series, “Hollywood Demons,” one individual who claims to be a victim of Stephen Collins, known for his role as Reverend Eric Camden on the show “7th Heaven” for 11 seasons, speaks openly about their experiences in an exclusive interview. This discussion comes after Collins’ career was brought to an end by allegations of molestation.

In the first installment of a six-part series, April Price shared her account of several questionable sexual experiences she claimed to have had with an actor back in 1983. At that time, Price was just 13 years old, and the actor resided near her aunt and herself in a Los Angeles apartment complex. “This is terrible. This is truly terrible. I’m not sure what to do,” Price recounted during the episode, following an instance when she found herself alone with Collins in his apartment, only to discover him without any clothes on after he exited his bedroom.

Price stated that at this moment, she was as small and tense as possible, avoiding looking at him, and she wasn’t the only one left shocked by Collins, who confessed in 2014 to sexual misconduct with three underage girls between 1973 and 1994. This revelation came as a surprise since he had portrayed a squeaky-clean pastor dad on the well-known WB family drama earlier.

The first admission from Collins originated in a 2012 audio clip of a therapy session, which was subsequently published online by TMZ without either Collins or the therapist’s knowledge or consent in October. In this recording, the actor from 7th Heaven admits to inappropriately exposing himself or molesting underage girls. At one point on the tape, he is heard saying, “I put her hand on my penis.

Although Collins admitted to certain incidents, he was never officially charged because the legal time limit for prosecution had passed. The initial broadcast of Hollywood Demons on Monday night featured Jeremy London, a former co-star from 7th Heaven, listening to Collins’ confession on tape for the first time, initially trying to distance himself from the controversy.

London expressed his shock and anger towards someone interfering with someone he deeply cares about, stating that it still stirs up strong emotions in him. During an interview with the Hollywood Demons producers, he voiced this sentiment. However, upon listening to a recording of Collins’ confession, London’s tone noticeably shifted.

It’s a challenging situation. It’s difficult. Being a father comes first for me, more than anything else, which is why my concerns are primarily focused on the children. If that was my own child, Stephen Collins would not be alive today,” London asserted. Garth Ancier, the initial president of Programming at the WB Network, informed the ID producers that none of the 7th Heaven co-stars, including child actors like Beverley Mitchell, David Gallagher, and Mackenzie Rosman, raised allegations against Collins during the show’s production.

As a long-time co-star of Stephen Collins on our hit TV show for eleven seasons, what he admitted in interviews with People magazine and ABC’s 20/20 program didn’t match my personal experiences with him. To put it bluntly, it just wasn’t the Stephen Collins I knew at all. I shared this sentiment during an episode of Investigation Discovery’s series.

Dr. Drew Pinsky, who provided commentary during the Stephen Collins case, mentioned that he’s acquainted with Beverly Mitchell (who portrayed Lucy Camden on 7th Heaven). According to Mitchell, she never discussed any problems related to Collins, either on or off set. Dr. Pinsky described Collins as a friendly, intelligent, and captivating individual. However, he was involved in reprehensible actions, according to Pinsky.
