Stone Island SS25 Delivers a Monochromatic “Ghost” Collection

Stone Island reveals the next phase of its “Community as a Research Medium” initiative with the Spring/Summer 2025 Ghost collection. This single-hued assortment emphasizes color consistency, designing a practical and transparent wardrobe. The collection is displayed by actor Ethan Ruan, NFL player Garrett Wilson, and former footballer-turned-entrepreneur Hidetoshi Nakata.

Ethan Ruan showcases the practical elegance of the Weatherproof Cotton Canvas Ghost blazer. Crafted from closely spun organic cotton threads, the fabric expands when damp, providing a weather-resistant shield without needing coatings or laminations. The blazer offers patch pockets on the outside and snap-fastened ones inside, along with a hidden two-way zip and snap fastening. It first appears in salt flat powder grey, coordinating perfectly with accompanying Bermuda shorts and a cotton cashmere zip-up sweater.

Garrett Wilson sports the initial Alcantara® Ghost raglan blouson by Stone Island, introducing the collection’s inaugural use of this material. Crafted in Italy, this fabric combines advanced technology with traditional artistry to produce a comfortable yet robust texture. The jacket showcases unfinished, bonded pockets, a stand collar, stretchy cuffs and hem, and the distinctive monochrome Ghost emblem of Stone Island.

Hidetoshi Nakata emphasizes that the collection showcases diagonal linen fabric, which is noticeable in both cargo pants and an overshirt. The overshirt, colored a light desert sand hue, comes with functional chest pockets, adjustable sleeves, a concealed button closure, and a single-colored Ghost logo, all of which contribute to the collection’s harmonious color scheme.

Drawing inspiration from the idea of hiding, or camouflage, the Ghost collection adopts a single-tone design approach, enabling clothes to effortlessly merge with their surroundings.

The SS25 “Ghost” collection is now available on the Stone Island webstore.
