Stone Island creates this effect by using two layers of organza on a Cordura®500 foundation, followed by a nanometric layer of aluminum. An industrial technique called Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) is employed to vaporize solid aluminum and coat the materials with it as a film. The metal’s reflective nature, in conjunction with the organza’s moire tendency, results in an visually captivating outcome.

Equipped with high-quality feathers, verified by the Responsible Down Standard, this design ensures warmth during cold winter conditions without compromise. The hood is cushioned and adjustable using a drawstring contour, while it also includes pockets on the chest that expand like bellows, and the hand placements are safely fastened with snap closures.

The Metal Mesh jacket is part of an increasing number of silver-themed designs that leading brands and designers are introducing today.
