Oh boy, let me tell you about my recent cinematic escapade! Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank has taken over our screens, and it’s nothing short of a delightful rollercoaster ride! The addition of none other than Akshay Kumar in a special appearance is the cherry on top.

Movie “Stree 2: Sarkate’s Wrath,” helmed by Amar Kaushik, is dominating cinemas nationwide. Released on August 15, it also features a special appearance by action star Akshay Kumar. In an interview, the director shared insights about Kumar’s scene with Abhishek Banerjee. He mentioned that Kumar himself came up with improvisations during filming, leaving everyone on set rolling with laughter!

During an interview with Connect Cine, Stree 2 director Amar Kaushik discussed the friendly rapport between Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Banerjee in the film. He shared that during the filming of Sky Force alongside the megastar in London, he approached Kumar about a small scene in the sequel of his initial movie Stree, asking if he’d be interested. Without hesitation, Kumar enquired about the story, and Amar immediately explained it to him on the streets of London at that moment.

“The actor from Khel Khel Mein assured him he’d deliver, with absolute certainty. He asked for his lines, to which Amar promptly provided. His performance left a lasting impression, leading to his confirmation in the horror-comedy film. The director was taken aback by his acting skills and stated that on set, Kumar was full of energy. He was enthusiastic about the project and even offered valuable suggestions for improvement.”

Amar found pleasure in observing him and his enthusiastic performance. Later, the filmmaker incorporated Abhishek Banerjee into the production, causing such laughter on set that they all collapsed in fits. The director reminisced about this. In addition to following the original plan, the actor creatively modified scenes by having the other actor sit on his lap. Abhishek also contributed a line about COVID-19.

As per the director of Bhediya, there were numerous amusing elements in the film. The humor in the script was already effective, but the performances by both actors significantly enhanced the scenes, making them funnier and more captivating. For those unaware, Stree 2 also features Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana.
