Stree 2: Shraddha Kapoor has hilarious reaction as Aparshakti Khurana sings Soft Chitti song; 'Is Lori mein toh ek alag hi...'

As an ardent fan of Bollywood, I can’t help but be absolutely smitten by Aparshakti Khurana‘s charm and talent! His portrayal of Bittu in Stree 2 has left me in splits, and his recent hilarious lullaby recreation is a testament to that. The way he effortlessly transforms a simple scene into a viral sensation is truly commendable.

For quite some time, Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 has been making headlines for positive reasons, and each cast member has played an essential role in boosting the movie’s success. Lately, Aparshakti Khurana, who portrayed Bittu, shared a humorous video of himself reenacting a specific scene from the film where his character sings an unusual lullaby to his romantic interest.

Aparshakti performed a lipsync to a fan’s amusing track, “Soft Chitti, warm chitti, little fur ball, happy chitti, sleepy chitti, pur, pur, pur.” He labeled this selfie video, “Soft Chitti Warm Chitti – By Popular Request.” Not long after, his Stree 2 colleagues joined in with their own hilarious comments.

Shraddha Kapoor playfully commented, “This lullaby has a unique sweetness all its own.” Abhishek Banerjee, portraying Jana, replied, “You’ve never sung for me before!!” Rajkummar Rao responded with an exclamation of admiration and multiple heart emoticons.

In a conversation with Money Control, Khurana mentioned one key factor behind Stree 2’s success was its humor element. He shared anecdotes about fans expressing their affection for the lullaby sequence in various public places such as football fields and airports. Aparshakti added, “People are requesting me to sing it for them. My school friend even called me, and he too appreciated that scene where I sang the lullaby. It was heartwarming.”

Khurana went on to express his gratitude for the opportunity to reprise his role as Bittu in this successful series, and he was touched by the warmth and approval the film received from viewers. He remarked that it’s almost unbelievable how the film, which had such humble beginnings, has reached such heights, especially considering its modest budget compared to US films. Even though the first part did well, these figures are beyond what was anticipated.

Stree 2 is currently in theatres near you.
