Stüssy and Mountain Hardwear Want to Fit You for the Slopes

As a seasoned outdoor adventurer with years of trekking through snow-capped mountains and braving sub-zero temperatures under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about the Stüssy x Mountain Hardwear collaboration. Having spent countless hours in less-than-ideal weather conditions, I’ve come to appreciate the importance of functional yet stylish gear.

Following their joint effort in designing an assortment of durable outdoor clothing items last year, Stüssy and Mountain Hardwear have come together again to launch a new collection of high-quality expedition gear suitable for the approaching winter season.

Described as “durable gear for nature’s adventures,” this collection encompasses GORE-TEX bibs, shells, insulated jackets suitable for extreme cold, beanies, caps, and CORDURA backpacks, along with various other co-branded items. Renowned for crafting essential equipment for climbers, mountaineers, and outdoor sports enthusiasts, Mountain Hardwear emphasizes functionality in this collaboration, featuring multi-pocketed outerwear designs, robust weather-resistant pants offering ample storage space, and accessories designed to maximize storage. Meanwhile, Stüssy brings its iconic SoCal style to the line.

Compared to their recent releases, this new collection leans towards a more muted color scheme. Instead of bright, eye-catching colors, it features deep greens, soft blues, and toned-down shades. As a result, the overall look is quite tranquil, ideal for individuals who spend a lot of time in nature. However, for those seeking a bolder statement or increased visibility on snowy terrains, there are options like vibrant orange long-sleeves and beanies available.

Starting November 1st, 9:00 A.M. local time, you can get the Stüssy x Mountain Hardwear collection both online and at chosen Stüssy chapter stores in North America, UK, Europe, Japan, and Korea. Check out the gallery above for a sneak peek of what’s to come!
