Suits Creator Got Real When Asked If It’d Be Possible For Meghan Markle To Make A Cameo In Suits LA

After the remarkable comeback of Suits on Netflix in 2023, the USA Network’s legal drama is returning for another spinoff, airing this weekend as part of NBC’s 2025 television lineup. Titled Suits LA, this new series will be set in Los Angeles and centered around an entertainment law firm run by Stephen Amell’s character Ted Black. Although the setting is different from the original, Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Specter will return for a multi-episode storyline. The creator of Suits, Aaron Korsh, has hinted at the possibility of Meghan Markle reprising her role.

Prior to assuming the role of Duchess of Sussex, Markle had a prominent part on the TV show “Suits” as Rachel Zane, a paralegal who later became an associate. With her and Prince Harry’s recent partnership with Netflix, along with her own Netflix series, fans have been eagerly anticipating a possible return to acting. Last year, speculation arose about her potentially rejoining the “Suits” spinoff, but according to Korsh, they have considered this possibility:

It’d certainly add excitement if Meghan Markle appeared as a guest star on Suits LA. Given that this role would represent her comeback to acting, even if only momentarily, it seems quite enticing. Whether she portrayed herself or reprised her character Rachel Zane, it would be captivating, yet potentially challenging to arrange. Nonetheless, there’s still a glimmer of hope and anything can happen. Korsh has left the door open for her to visit the set, and I sincerely hope it comes true!

It seems like the current situation is overly complicated for some people. Regardless, if Meghan chooses to return for any reason at all, she’s more than welcome to do so.

There’s a possibility that Markle could come back, so let’s wait and see what might transpire in the future regarding her role on Suits LA. Interestingly, they managed to get Macht back for the new series even though he hadn’t acted since the original Suits ended. As for Markle, it seems a bit challenging, but we can’t definitively say she won’t return unless she explicitly denies it. If she does make a comeback, it would certainly be intriguing, and Korsh is already imagining how the storyline could unfold if she were to appear as herself in a cameo.

As a cinephile, I’d love nothing more than stepping into the scenes myself, but let’s face it, it would be quite overwhelming to blend reality with the silver screen so intimately. After all, the magic lies in the separation!

The range of possibilities is vast, and it’s quite possible that Gabriel Macht won’t be the sole Suits actor to make an appearance.
