Sunidhi Chauhan on Arijit Singh's success and how he adapts from all singers he likes; 'I think he doesn't love himself enough'

As a music enthusiast who has been following the Hindi film industry for decades, I can confidently say that Sunidhi Chauhan‘s words about Arijit Singh resonate deeply with me. Having witnessed their incredible collaborations over the years, I can attest to the unique talent and adaptability that Arijit possesses.

Sunidhi Chauhan is highly respected as one of the top playback singers in the Hindi music industry. She has collaborated with numerous gifted artists within the industry, including Arijit Singh. Recently, Sunidhi commended Arijit for his ability to draw inspiration from other singers while acknowledging his humility in his craft.

In their recent YouTube podcast chat, Sunidhi Chauhan praised Arijit Singh as an exceptionally talented vocalist whose renditions of other singers’ songs make listeners feel like they belong to him.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share an insightful observation about the remarkable talent of Arijit, as referred to by Kamli, his senior in the music industry. She aptly described him as a “student,” emphasizing his ability to effortlessly transition across different genres, a trait she deemed “impressive.”

Sunidhi mentioned that most singers adjust their voice to adapt different music styles, but Arijit Singh, famously known for “Phir Mohabbat,” doesn’t follow this trend. Interestingly, even with his achievements, Arijit remains humble and isn’t boastful about himself, as she revealed.

According to the singer of Sheila Ki Jawaani, it seems he lacks self-love, which allows him to act as he does. Being a student, he fails to recognize his own potential and worth, similar to Arijit Singh. He appears not to hold himself in high regard.

She mentioned that Arijit is quite relaxed in nature and frequently enjoys listening to other musicians, taking inspiration from those he finds appealing.

In his performances, the 40-year-old vocalist frequently sings songs composed by various artists, including renowned legends like Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar, as well as emerging talents.

Sunidhi added that Arijit is eager to create music, and the public yearns to listen to him. Unfortunately, Arijit Singh has had to delay his upcoming UK tour because of unforeseen health issues.

The concert originally planned for August has been rescheduled to occur in September of this very year. In a recent Instagram update, the artist expressed his apologies to those ticket holders who were planning to attend his performance.

He added that the existing tickets will remain valid next month.

Sunidhi Chauhan and Arijit Singh have teamed up on tracks such as “Jaanib” from Dilliwali Zaalim Girlfriend and “Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari” from Chennai Express, and they also joined forces for the song “Dilliwali Girlfriend” from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
