Actor Adarsh Gourav is preparing to make a theatrical comeback in Superboys of Malegaon. He’s been winning over audiences with impressive performances in notable films like The White Tiger (2021), co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao, and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023) alongside Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Looking back on his career path, Adarsh shared that he has rejected roles during lean times when the content didn’t feel right to him.
In a Zoom interview, Adarsh (the actor from Superboys of Malegaon) mentioned that on occasion, he found himself without work. However, when opportunities came along, there were instances where the content didn’t resonate with him, and he couldn’t understand it, so he chose not to take part in those projects.
When queried about whether he thought he was fairly compensated, Adarsh Gourav pondered that he felt he had gotten more than he initially anticipated. At the start of his acting journey, his primary concern was working in excellent films, no matter the size of the role.
His main focus lay in teaming up with skilled filmmakers and scriptwriters to develop narratives that he’d find engaging to watch. For him, just a handful of poignant scenes were sufficient if the project provided a sense of purpose and creative satisfaction.
Directed by Reema Kagti, the movie titled “Superboys of Malegaon” is brought to you by Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Ritesh Sidhwani.
