As a long-time admirer of the fusion between art and fashion, I find myself constantly enthralled by the unique collaborations that emerge within the industry. However, the upcoming Supreme x Frank Frazetta Fall 2024 collection has left me absolutely spellbound!
Supreme is preparing for a fresh lineup to conclude November, continuing their Fall 2024 launches. They’re collaborating yet again with the Frank Frazetta estate in this latest venture.
The works of artist Frazetta have been a consistent feature in Supreme’s seasonal designs since long ago. Often hailed as one of the most influential science fiction and fantasy illustrators ever, his unique depictions of sword-and-sorcery heroes, warrior women, warlocks, beasts, and distant kingdoms sparked the imagination of many and inspired countless artists who followed.
In a unique twist, the artistic style of Frazetta was marked by his reinterpretation of iconic pop culture characters such as Conan, Tarzan, John Carter of Mars, along with their accompanying females and beasts, using his distinct approach. Frazetta’s masterful paintings frequently incorporated rich colors and expressive shadows, which became his trademark when portraying raw physical power, violence, sensuality, mystery, and danger in his work. The visual realm of science fiction and fantasy during the late 20th century was significantly shaped by Frazetta’s innovative, visceral style. For the Fall 2024 collection, Supreme has taken inspiration from these iconic Frazetta works, bringing the Frazetta estate to prominence once more. The collection includes a Trucker Jacket, Track Jacket, Soccer Jersey, Hooded Sweatshirt, Jeans, Track Pants, Soccer Shorts, two T-Shirts, Camp Cap, and Plate.
The Fall 2024 collaboration between Supreme and Frank Frazetta is set to go global, with the collection dropping simultaneously on their online store worldwide. In the U.S., the release will occur on November 29 at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. For our friends in Asia, they can get their hands on it starting on November 30.
