As a seasoned gamer and skateboard enthusiast with a soft spot for streetwear culture, I can’t help but feel a rush of adrenaline upon witnessing Supreme’s latest collaboration with Thrasher. The gritty, raw energy of the Johnny Wilson-directed video featuring Neck Face and his crew is a testament to the enduring spirit of skateboarding and graffiti art that resonates deeply with my life experiences.
Supreme joins forces with fellow skateboarding brand for another partnership. Collaborating with Thrasher yet again, Supreme will release a line of clothing, designed by veteran partner Neck Face, who is also the face of this collection, as officially announced in a recent skate video.
In a gritty music video directed by Johnny Wilson, Neck Face takes the front line, holding a spray paint can, accompanied by Rowan Zorilla, Kevin Bradley, Ben Kadow, Troy Gipson, Vince Palmer, Casper Brooker, and Stu Graham. The group proceeds to tear through the UK and Scotland. Notably, Neck Face pauses occasionally to mark his artwork on the concrete surfaces.
Though the specific items in the collaboration haven’t been announced yet, the video showcases an eye-catching assortment of clothing pieces such as a reflective “Thrasher” t-shirt, a Thrasher x Supreme crewneck sweater (both in pullover and zip-up hoodie versions, along with sweatpants). Furthermore, additional graphic tees are hinted at, one of which humorously incorporates Thraster’s flamed logo, as well as various knit hats for headgear.
In the newest photo T-shirt from Supreme, Neck Face is the central figure, showcasing a black-and-white image of the artist.
