Peacock has debuted a first look at The Office spinoff, The Paper.

During NBCUniversal’s advertisers event on the 12th of May, I got a thrilling glimpse of the upcoming project with Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Oscar Nuñez making special appearances. They even hinted at a potential release in September 2025, although the exact date is still under wraps.

As a gamer, I can tell you that The Paper is like an extension of The Office, following the daily lives and antics of employees in a newspaper office, specifically the Toledo Truth-Teller. In this mockumentary-style series, I, Nuñez, am back in the fold but this time working as the accountant, not exactly thrilled about the documentary crew poking around. Impacciatore steps into the role of managing editor and Gleeson is the eager newcomer with idealistic aspirations.

The new additions to the main cast for the revival of The Office are Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key. Co-creator of The Office, Greg Daniels, is working on this series together with Michael Koman. Both Daniels and Koman will also serve as executive producers for the show alongside creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.

Stay tuned for an official trailer and release date for The Paper.
