Take a Look at Bjarke Ingels’ New Copenhagen Headquarters

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for architectural marvels that push boundaries and challenge the status quo, I must admit, Bjarke Ingels’ latest creation has left me utterly captivated! Much like navigating through an intricate RPG, this Copenhagen headquarters is a testament to the power of interdisciplinary thinking.

Famous Danish architect Bjarke Ingels recently revealed his latest project, which serves as his new office headquarters in Copenhagen. This impressive structure accommodates approximately 300 staff members and is situated in the Nordhavn district, a neighborhood primarily composed of warehouses and maritime facilities on a pier.

Constructing the building over a span of two years, Ingles aspired to set an example using his pioneering “LEAPP” methodology. This acronym represents “Landscape, Engineering, Architecture, Planning, and Product Design.

The structure is constructed from concrete and has seven levels, while a blend of solar and geothermal energy solutions enables it to draw power from approximately 60% renewable resources.

A seven-story structure is connected by a blackened stairway of steel, and a central pillar, crafted from six distinct types of stone, stands tall within it.

As a gamer diving into this project, I’d say LEAPP is like a renaissance guild, a fusion of Landscape, Engineering, Architecture, Product, and Planning experts. LEAPP stands for this diverse group and their collective wisdom. Every facet of LEAPP, from the strategic planning to the intricate design of our headquarters’ concrete structures, has been part of our journey.
