As a long-time sneakerhead and collector, I’ve been following the collaborations between HUF and Nike for decades. I remember the hype surrounding their first collaboration 20 years ago, and how exclusive the friends and family editions were back then. So when I heard they were reissuing not only the OG design but also two other samples from 2004, I couldn’t contain my excitement!
Name: HUF collaboration with Nike Air Max 1 – “Friends & Family” Edition
Color Scheme: White, Pear, Sail, and Medium Grey
SKU: HF3714-100
Availability: Exclusive for Friends & Family only.
Twenty years ago, HUF and Nike joined forces for a unique collaboration, resulting in a special version of the Air Max 1 with an extremely limited edition friends and family design. To mark this anniversary, they have chosen to bring back not just the original design, but also the two additional prototypes that were developed in 2004.
We’ve gained an early peek at the latest F&F collaboration between HUF and Nike, following a hint from their creative director Romeo Tanghal during our chat. The sneaker boasts a fresh color scheme consisting of white, off-white, gray, and HUF’s distinctive “Pear Green.”
If you’re excited about getting a pair of these HUF x Nike Air Max 1 colorways from 2024, I regret to inform you that they will only be made available to friends and family, with a total production of just 150 numbered pairs. Check out the video below for a closer inspection of their distinct features.
