TDR Keeps Storytelling at the Core of Its SS25 Collection

TDR is a brand known for its dedication to quality. It creates its products by blending fabrics from historic Japanese mills, such as vegan leathers and cashmere denim, with vintage Laurel studs. Additionally, the design process remains forward-thinking, constantly introducing fresh aesthetics and color palettes, a trend that is more evident than ever in their latest collection.

In their newest line, TDR showcases a variety of styles heavily influenced by denim, harking back to the workwear period of the 1950s, an era characterized by peculiar repairs and hidden seams crafted manually. Moreover, the way TDR has introduced this collection is by incorporating the technique called top-down ray fading, which gives the impression that the fabric has been worn, cared for, and damaged in the field, lending a well-worn, cherished, and abused feel to it.

For Spring/Summer 2025, TDR aimed not to create garments that appear fresh only on their first use. Instead, they’ve chosen to weave narratives into each design, presenting authentic vintage clothing. Each item in the collection stands alone as a unique, self-contained assortment, free from any specific message or defined direction.

Currently, the designs incorporate leftover materials, hard-to-find laurel studs from past collections, and a shorter-sleeved adaptation of last year’s popular Noragi jacket suitable for the current season.
