As a dedicated Pokémon TCG gamer, I can’t contain my excitement about the latest product launches! Every time there’s a new expansion, it’s like Christmas morning for me. The demand has been off the charts, leaving The Pokémon Company scrambling to keep up with supplies. And now, the set we’ve all been waiting for – Pokémon TCG: Destined Rivals – is finally here!
Initially unveiled at the Pokémon World Championships in August, “Destined Rivals” brings back the popular villain group, Team Rocket. This band of mischief-makers joins other cherished characters as part of a massive 42-card expansion that boasts special illustrations. The partner cards are the standout feature of this collection, with Ethan teaming up with Ho-Oh and Cynthia pairing with Garchomp. In terms of Team Rocket, familiar figures like Archer and Ariana are joined by Giovanni, who appears alongside Meowth in one card and Mewtwo for the most coveted collector’s item.
The “Pokémon TCG: Destined Rivals” has recently been delivered to the Pokémon Center, certain retailers, and local card shops. You can purchase packs either individually, thematically, or as bundles.
