As a longtime martial artist and die-hard fan of Japanese pop culture, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the sight of this stunning collaboration between Albino & Preto and Tezuka Productions! The iconic character Astro Boy has been a constant source of inspiration for me ever since my childhood, and seeing him grace the jiu-jitsu apparel is like a dream come true.
Working together with Tezuka Productions, the design duo Albino & Preto have revealed their newest joint project featuring the iconic intellectual property and beloved character of Osamu Tezuka – none other than Astro Boy!
The collection comprises jiu-jitsu training apparel spanning a nogi set, training gi and graphic tees, imbued with co-branded embroidered patches and full-color graphic prints of Astro Boy.
Furthermore, you’ll find a unique, limited-time vinyl figure among the drops as well. This figure stands 12 inches high and is modeled after Atom, also known as Astro Boy, dressed in an A&P martial arts uniform. The outfit includes a black belt and his trademark red boots.
Check out the assortment you see here. The Bob Marley merchandise will go live on Albino & Preto’s webstore starting October 9, at 11 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.
