As a die-hard fan of The Simpsons since its very first episode, I can’t help but daydream about seeing my beloved Springfield characters grace the Fortnite battlefield. Imagine Bart skateboarding his way through Tilted Towers, Lisa playing her saxophone on the Battle Bus, or even Grampa Simpson fishing for some Rare fish!
Get ready to prepare your suitcases for a journey to Springfield (whichever location that may be), as buzz surrounding Fortnite suggests that The Simpsons could be making its long-awaited debut in the popular battle royale game. Meanwhile, Chapter 5 Season 4 is ramping up with its Marvel-themed “Absolute Doom” storyline, while a growing number of Disney properties are being incorporated due to a fresh collaboration.
Apart from unveiling a sneak peek of Absolute Doom, the D23 fan expo also verified that The Incredibles are coming up next. It seems like Epic is pouring a lot of effort into its Disney partnerships, and guess what? The Simpsons fall under the Disney umbrella. Is it time for a crossover between The Simpsons and Fortnite?
The Simpsons could be coming to Fortnite
According to an unconfirmed report I received via email from a secretive informant, there are rumors that Fortnite could be collaborating with The Simpsons for a future project. However, it’s important to note that this information is not verified yet.

Based on a post by SamLeakss on their account, they received an alleged email suggesting that the well-known American family is about to exit the Battle Bus. Given that Futurama, Rick and Morty, and Family Guy characters have previously appeared in games, it’s plausible to expect these cartoon characters might join Fortnite as well.
We’d undoubtedly be throwing our V-Bucks at a mythical Fortnite x The Simpsons collab, and with 35 years of material to go off, there are endless opportunities when it comes to crossover potential. From new POIs to secret skins, heck, you could even make a whole Battle Pass just based on The Simpsons.
As a longtime fan of both The Simpsons and Fortnite, I must admit that the recent rumor about the two franchises colliding has piqued my interest. However, being in the gaming industry for quite some time, I’ve learned to take leaks with a grain of salt, especially when it comes to something as popular as The Simpsons. But given that the source seems to have been reliable in the past, there could be some truth to it. If this collaboration is indeed happening, here are ten characters from The Simpsons I’d love to see immortalized in Fortnite:
Evil Homer
Just as it’s highly likely that Peter Griffin will be buff in the upcoming Family Guy crossover, it seems almost certain that we’ll see a Homer Simpson skin. Over the years, Homer has had many distinctive looks, but perhaps it’s time to revisit his Evil Homer persona. This costume was popular during The Simpsons: Hit & Run game, after all.
Bartman
In a collaboration with The Simpsons, it’s unlikely we’d get a character skin for Bart due to his age and small size, which wouldn’t allow him to carry a gun on the Fortnite battlefield. However, we can anticipate an item like a Bart Back Bling, and a fitting one would celebrate his alter ego, Bartman.
Panther Marge
Besides the Chanel suit and witch costume Marge wears in Treehouse of Horror VIII, there’s another well-known outfit you might spot her in. In another episode of Treehouse of Horror, we see Panther Marge, and a seductive blue version of this outfit appears in “The Island of Dr. Hibbert.” The developers can figure out the technical aspects of how her hair interacts with the game environment.
Hank Scorpio
A handful of characters have left an indelible mark on The Simpsons, and among them is supervillain Hank Scorpio, who arguably shone brightest in the series’ best-ever episode. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen him beyond “You Only Move Twice.” Originally planned to reappear in The Simpsons Movie, Albert Brooks instead voiced Russ Cargill instead.
Radioactive Man
Could Radioactive Man, a less-seen but beloved superhero by Bart, be the next addition to Fortnite’s map? Given that Epic Games is heavily featuring Marvel characters in Chapter 5 Season 3, it makes sense to introduce the leader of the Superior Squad, which mirrors the Avengers.
Robot Mr. Burns
Though Mr. Burns, the grumpy boss of Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, might be more humorously portrayed these days instead of his usual intimidating self, he remains a beloved character among fans. We can only imagine how fascinating it would be to see him as the apocalyptic robot from Season 5’s “Rosebud” episode.
Kang & Kodos
In the tradition of the Treehouse of Horror Halloween episodes from The Simpsons, Kang and Kodos, beloved characters who often pose an outer space threat, have also left their mark on Fortnite. If a collaboration between Fortnite and The Simpsons were to happen around Halloween, these two would be ideal for Fortnitemares.
Alien Maggie
As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but dream about a unique cosmetic item for my in-game character – the Alien Maggie Back Bling! Remember the chilling “Starship Poopers” segment from Treehouse of Horror IV? That’s where we discovered the shocking truth: Marge was impregnated by Kang, and our beloved Maggie is a product of this alien-human hybridization! Can you imagine that little bundle of interstellar terror wiggling around on your character’s back? Now that would be a truly terrifying (and awesome) addition to my gaming arsenal!
Krusty the Clown
You might notice some similarities between Homer and Krusty the Clown because the original plan was to reveal the boozy clown as Homer himself. These days, Krusty is a legend of the series as a foul-mouthed children’s entertainer who’s regularly intertwined with The Simpsons. Hey, hey, kids, Krusty is a must-buy.
Stupid Sexy Flanders
In the world of The Simpsons, Ned Flanders, reminiscent of a friendly neighbor from next door, has left an indelible mark on the show. Notably, the humorous moment “Stupid Sexy Flanders” in Season 11’s “Little Big Mom” has become a popular meme. If we are to encounter any iteration of Ned, it should be him sporting a tight lycra suit and skiing with grace on the slopes.
Currently, our aspirations for a Fortnite and The Simpsons crossover remain imaginative. Yet, with Disney and Epic Games potentially having a lot of future collaborations, introducing The Simpsons into Fortnite seems plausible. It’s not just about ‘Seymour Butts,’ we yearn to see multiple Simpsons characters in Fortnite for an extended period.
