As a gaming enthusiast, I’d say “Orange Is the New Black” on Netflix is hands down one of the top original series ever made, and guess who’s part of it? None other than the talented Lauren Lapkus! Her character, Susan Fischer, the sweet-natured newbie guard at Litchfield Penitentiary, often finds herself in hot water with the inmates, but manages to stay on their good side most of the time. However, her biggest issue isn’t the inmates – it’s Warden Joe Caputo (played by Nick Sandow), who plays a significant role in her eventual departure during the show’s second season.
As a gamer, I may appear timid, obedient, and even clumsy at times, but when I step into the role of Lapkus’ character while playing Fischer, I bring a unique blend of skill and depth that makes this guard incredibly endearing, despite her flaws. If you’re not fully satisfied with how she exits the show initially, stick around – trust me, it’s worth it! It might take some patience, but Fischer eventually gets her time in the limelight, and boy, does she shine brightly when she does.
