Over the past six months or so, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the unveiling of the Air Jordan 39. I figured with the Air Jordan 40 set to make its grand entrance in 2025, there wouldn’t be much noise about its predecessor. But boy, was I wrong! It turns out that the lack of hype wasn’t because it was being overlooked; instead, Nike chose to focus all their attention on enhancing the shoe’s performance rather than its appearance. So, while I might not see as many flashy releases, I’m confident that each pair of Air Jordan 39s will deliver an exceptional gaming experience.
Lately, there have been additions featuring two pairs in black and white, which emerged towards the end of 2024. Now, the Swoosh is unveiling sneak peeks of more subdued designs. First, a “Noir” rendition of the shoe presents a black upper matched with a semi-transparent sole unit that spans part of the upper and has a milky white hue. In contrast, its “Sail” counterpart sports the same sole but sits atop a white upper adorned with black accents and blue Jumpman branding on the tongue.
Currently, there’s no word from Jordan Brand about when the “Noir” or “Sail” color versions of the Air Jordan 39 will be released. Keep an eye out for announcements as we anticipate they’ll become available at Nike SNKRS and selected stores within the next couple of months, priced at $200 USD per pair.
