Last year, the collaboration between Kyrie Irving and sports apparel brand ANTA was an intriguing narrative to watch unfold within the basketball shoe industry. Their partnership started strong with the launch of the ANTA KAI 1, followed by a deeper exploration of their alliance through the introduction of lifestyle styles. As we move into the new year, ANTA is preparing to release the Hélà Style in a fresh “Chief Hélà” color scheme.

Kyrie Irving’s “Chief Hélà” motif was initially seen on the ANTA KAI 1 last year in October, and now it is prominently displayed across his everyday wear line, the Hélà Style. Inspired by the indigenous Native heritage of his mother, Irving’s Lakota name “Hélà” is once more revered through this design. The upper of the shoe features a deep brown suede, complemented by details inspired by native culture such as tassels adorning the heel of the footwear. In his own words, “Each step I take in my journey honors my ancestors and the strength they’ve passed down to me. This shoe is more than just a design; it’s a tribute to where I originate from, representing unity and progress.
