The chrome details on this retro running silhouette are nothing short of breathtaking, and it’s clear that ASICS has outdone themselves with this design.

ASICS is introducing one of its most silver-adorned sneakers ever with the GEL-NYC “Pure Silver”. The shoe’s design features a striking use of shimmering silver leather, which catches the eye from the tongue all the way down to the base of the mesh uppers. Resting on a two-toned midsole, this silver detail is a bold addition to ASICS’ traditional design style.

The interplay between matte silver accents and expansive glossy silver sections from the heel to toe tips offers a harmonious contrast that emphasizes every detail of this vintage running shoe’s shape. ASICS’ distinctive wide-mesh layers provide depth to the design, subtly visible beneath the chrome overlays and at the tongue’s top. The ASICS logo and branding appear in navy blue embroidery, positioned conventionally on the tongue and heel’s center.

In contrast to its title “Pure Silver,” this model features a deep Midnight Navy stripe on top of weathered gray midsole sections.
