Cats, accompanied by their female counterparts, have seized the discussion once more. Renowned American fashion designer Tory Burch has introduced a restricted collection themed around cats, called Animal House, which features Euphoria‘s cat-loving actress Maude Apatow as the face of the campaign.
Tory Burch’s Resort 2024 collection includes the Animal House line, showcasing signature items such as the popular Kira Shoulder Bag and beloved Miller t-strap sandals, alongside swimwear, accessories, and ready-to-wear clothing. These pieces are adorned with the work of German photographer Walter Schels, particularly his 1994 photograph titled “Cat,” which features a striking black and white image of a fluffy cat with an open mouth and extended tongue. Walter Schels is renowned for his captivating portraits of artists, celebrities, and prominent figures.

The photographs for the campaign, taken by Ellen Fedors, feature Apatow and her cherished cat Dolly. These images were captured at a local store in SoHo, paying homage to famous NYC shops and their feline inhabitants.
Starting from Tuesday, August 13th, these items will only be found on ToryBurch.com, as well as at Tory Burch’s stores located on Mercer Street, Melrose Avenue, and the Miami Design District.
From August 16th through August 18th, Tory Burch is hosting a three-day event in SoHo to mark the debut of their limited-edition collection.
