The Russo Brothers have once again proven their knack for delivering high-octane action with a dash of heart. The alternate 1990s setting, coupled with the robot uprising backdrop, is a captivating blend of nostalgia and innovation that I can’t wait to see unfold on screen.
In the initial trailer, the stars of Stranger Things and the Marvel Cinematic Universe are at the helm for The Electric State, a new Netflix production by The Russo Brothers. This sci-fi journey is set in an alternate 1990s where the world has been devastated by a rebellion of robots. Chris Pratt and Krysten Ritter portray the main characters in this adventure.

Under the direction of Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, The Electric State boasts an impressive ensemble of supporting actors, including Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Woody Norman, alongside Giancarlo Esposito and Stanley Tucci. Notable voices bring to life some of the film’s vibrant characters, with stars like Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Hank Azaria, Colman Domingo, and Alan Tudyk lending their talents.
