The Four Seasons Gets Surprising Renewal at Netflix Just 2 Weeks After Premiere!

Netflix recently announced the continuation of “The Four Seasons” series on their streaming service, which was just released on May 1st a fortnight ago.

It was revealed on Wednesday that the second season of The Four Seasons has been confirmed. The initial season, featuring eight episodes, quickly became a popular choice for streaming, prompting a swift decision to renew it. Since its debut, the show has maintained its position at the top of Netflix’s list of English TV Shows, accumulating a total of 24.4 million views. Although hints were dropped about potential new actors joining the cast in season 2, no further names have been disclosed, and the exact return date remains uncertain.

Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield are the creators of the show titled ‘The Four Seasons.’ This series is a modern adaptation from the 1981 film with the same name, penned by Alan Alda. The story revolves around three couples who have been friends for a long time, but their bond is tested when one of them decides to part ways. Over the span of four seasons, we see these friends taking separate vacations that correspond to each season.

I’m thrilled to be part of this incredible ensemble cast! In addition to myself, we have Fey, Will Forte, Steve Carell, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Colman Domingo, Marco Calvani, and Erika Henningsen. The legendary Alan Alda graces us with his presence as a tribute to the original movie. Moreover, Julia Lester, Toby Huss, Taylor Ortega, Chloe Troast, and Ashlyn Maddox are also part of our talented group.

When considering another season,” Wigfield shared before the renewal, “we’d prefer to stick with our current circle of friends. Ginny is crucial to this group as she and Anne will have children who are siblings, which opens up numerous storylines for their relationship.” This suggests that the plan going forward is to keep the same cast members involved.

Fey playfully hinted, “Perhaps not, but we actually did. Who knows? If given the chance to do it again, I’m sure everyone would be up for another gathering.
