Stepping out of the familiar confines of theater and Oscar-nominated roles, I’m thrilled to be at the helm of Netflix’s timely, edge-of-your-seat series titled The Madness. The first full trailer has just been released, offering a gripping glimpse into my character, Muncie Daniels. In this story, I portray a highly respected media pundit navigating the complexities of a post-truth world, wrongfully accused of murdering an infamous white supremacist. To prove my innocence and evade the law, I embark on a harrowing journey that reunites me with long-lost family members and forges unexpected alliances.

In addition to the main eight-episode run, notable cast members include Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, Tamsin Topolski, and Thaddeus J. Mixson. Notable guest appearances are made by Deon Cole, Alison Wright, Ennis Esmer, and Hamish Allan-Headley. Also appearing in the series are renowned character actors John Ortiz, Bradley Whitford, and Stephen McKinley Henderson.

The Madness” is a production by Stephen Belber, known for “Rescue Me” and “What We Do Next”. Alongside VJ Boyd, he serves as co-showrunner for this series. Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Kaitlin Dahill, and Clément Virgo are the executive producers of this show.

The Madness debuts on Netflix on Nov. 28.
