New Balance is planning to introduce two fresh designs for its collection of casual running shoes – the 2000 and the 2010 models. The 2000 model brings a contemporary twist, while the 2010 stays true to the brand’s classic approach by offering retro-inspired runners with combined upper materials. A sneak peek at the shoe was given in February, followed by collaborations with brands like Kith and Rich Paul.
Two new color schemes have been hinted at for upcoming New Balance 2010 releases: a “Vintage Khaki” model featuring a forest green mesh base, overlaid with dark brown and olive hues, culminating in gray “N” logos; and a “Brown” counterpart sporting a soft brown mesh foundation, complemented by black and auburn-toned overlays. The soles of both shoes are equipped with an ABZORB midsole, boasting dark gray, blue, and black accents.
As I’m typing this, I haven’t got word yet from New Balance about when their 2010 runner will first hit the stores. Keep an eye out for news, like finding out more color options, as the “Vintage Khaki” and “Brown” versions should be dropping this summer, available at both New Balance stores and select retailers.
