The Hindi series “The Night Manager,” featuring Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, and others, is currently drawing quite a crowd on OTT platforms. This show is actually a remake of the 2016 British series with the same title, which itself was adapted from a novel by John le Carré. With fans anxiously anticipating the second season of this crime thriller, the director Priyanka Ghose, fresh off her work on “The Royals,” has given an update that will surely fuel your excitement even more!

In a chat with Bollywood Hungama, Priyanka Ghose mentioned that as of now, there’s no formal announcement or confirmation about the second season of The Night Manager. However, she expressed hope, “But yes, we definitely plan to create a second season.” She also added that the entire team, including the British producers who hold the primary rights to the show, are keen on progressing with it.

Priyanka went on to clarify that there were several legal and formal details left unattended before any progress could be made. She also shared that the second season of The Night Manager, which features Tom Hiddleston among others, is currently under production and set for release in 2025.

The director stated, “At present, the rights are owned by Amazon Global for this particular title. Until they clarify the rights situation, no other streaming platform can assume control or determine the producers involved.

In a nutshell, this series titled “The Night Manager” was produced by Sandeep Modi and spans across seven captivating episodes. The lead character, Shaan Sengupta, portrayed brilliantly by Aditya Roy Kapur, is the night manager of a hotel who embarks on an undercover assignment. The ensemble cast includes Anil Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, Rukhsar Rehman, and Saswata Chatterjee, among others. This intriguing show was unveiled in 2023 and can now be enjoyed on JioHotstar.

On May 9, 2025, the romantic comedy series “The Royals” directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana was made available on Netflix. This entertaining production features Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar as its main characters.
