The upcoming Monday Night Raw on Netflix is fast approaching, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most significant events in streaming television for early 2025. The WWE has been hyping big attractions such as John Cena’s comeback and a face-off between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, but that’s not all fans will witness. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has announced his attendance at the premiere event, and his promotional video for it has me convinced about his plans for WrestleMania 41.
The journey towards WrestleMania has begun, and there’s been a lot of chatter about what might transpire if The Rock appears on the show. Based on my speculation, it seems likely that he will carve out time for upcoming WWE events, as this video appears to align well with an ongoing narrative being played out on TV.
The Rock Posts Video Confirming His Appearance On Monday Night Raw
In true showman style, Dwayne Johnson didn’t simply announce he’d appear on Monday Night Raw when it airs on Netflix; instead, he released an entire video featuring him in the WWE. The clip also includes a good deal of footage from his time in Samoa, where he holds the title of High Chief Seiuli. Check out the video to learn more about this aspect of his life.

As a dedicated fan, I can recall The Rock’s last appearance in the WWE where he proudly embodied “The Final Boss” persona, flaunting the extravagant People’s Championship belt. Now, it appears he’s delving deeper into his Samoan heritage, which adds an intriguing layer to the anticipation for WrestleMania 41, one of the biggest WWE storylines yet.
How The Video Heavily Hints At The Rock’s WrestleMania 41 Plans
At WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns lost his Undisputed Championship and vacated his position. In his absence, Solo Sikoa assumed the role of “Tribal Chief” within The Bloodline. Later in that year, Reigns reappeared as the O.T.C., or the “Original Tribal Chief,” joining forces with some of his former allies to challenge his cousin and regain his status as a formidable force in the WWE.
Currently, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is adding another title to his repertoire – High Chief Seiuli, which aligns with a Samoan tribal theme. It appears that he’s being positioned to join the ongoing feud between Solo and Roman, potentially forming a new faction of Samoans in the mix. Given that he has a daughter in NXT and we’ve previously reported WWE has been quietly signing other Samoan wrestlers over the past year, it seems there could be more Samoan talent involved.
It’s purely conjecture, but it seems to me there might be something in the works for The Rock to face off against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41. There’s a chance we could see a three-way battle with Solo Sikoa involved too. Many of their allies could potentially play roles in this match as well. I believe we’ll gain more clarity when The Rock begins his in-ring segments and issues challenges to those who dare to confront him.
