Ishaan Khatter is gearing up to captivate audiences with his upcoming series, The Royals, alongside Bhumi Pednekar. In this production, Ishaan will portray a prince, offering fans a fresh perspective on him as he delves into the realm of royalty for the first time. Prior to its premiere, Ishaan discussed the challenging assignment he received while preparing for his role.

Ishaan Khatter’s on-screen character Aviraj inhabits a world distinct from his own reality, but the actor acknowledges shared traits between them. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he pointed out that they are both deeply emotional individuals. However, as he matures emotionally, he strives for improvement and expressiveness, in contrast to his character on the show who tends to keep feelings suppressed.

The actor from Dhadak stated that he doesn’t feel a necessity to flee from himself, so he found it difficult to connect with his character’s intense desire to escape from themselves. Moreover, during his preparation for the main part, he discussed the hurdles he encountered.

In just two and a half months, I faced an initially impossible challenge: mastering polo and making it look effortless. It was both intimidating and terrifying. However, I’m thrilled to announce that we not only accomplished the task but reached the best level possible under the given circumstances. It was an exhilarating experience!

Ishaan, who’s known for his roles in streaming series such as A Suitable Boy, recently expressed his thoughts on working within extended formats. He emphasized that longer content provides actors with the opportunity to delve deeper into their character’s development and fully flesh out their journey, particularly when part of an ensemble like The Royals.

In summary, he emphasized that it takes an additional degree of skill and creativity to effectively convey complex and multilayered ideas succinctly.
