As a design enthusiast with a penchant for urban aesthetics and a soft spot for graffiti-inspired patterns, this LOEHR x TEUBER KOHLHOFF SPRAY Throw collaboration has me absolutely thrilled! The thick brushed wool canvas, reminiscent of the graffitied walls of city streets, is a testament to the duo’s innovative spirit.
The furniture brand LOEHR unveiled a new line called SPRAY Throw, designed in partnership with TEUBER KOHLHOFF. This collaboration adds to the Berlin-based textile studio’s continuous exploration of graffiti-style patterns within their collection.
In this modern collection, thick, bristly wool blankets serve as the backdrop for vibrant, urban-inspired spray paint patterns. The SPRAY Throws come in three colors: Black, Lemon, and Lavender, with White providing a crisp contrast. LOEHR uses high-quality 480 GSM New Zealand virgin wool, woven by a mill in Lithuania. A jacquard double weave technique creates mirror images on opposite sides of the throws, offering flexible styling possibilities. To complete the design, traditional fringe trims add a classic touch to this edgy design.
TEUBER KOHLHOFF’s creations blend organic and man-made traits to produce unique printed, woven, and knitted interior goods. They celebrate the unpredictable nature of brushstrokes, spray paints, and naturalistic designs. The studio, established by Anna Teuber and Franzi Kohlhoff in 2015, frequently reveals insights into the tangible techniques that shape their abstract and geometric studies.
