As a dedicated sneakerhead with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but be excited about the latest addition to the Stüssy x Nike LD-1000 collection. The “Sanded Gold” colorway is a stunning piece that perfectly balances classic and modern design elements.
Stüssy and Nike LD-1000 with “Sanded Gold” Hue
Last week, the long-anticipated collaboration between Stüssy and Nike on the LD-1000 sneaker was released in two different color schemes, along with a surfwear collection. Now, a third colorway of the LD-1000 from this duo has emerged, suggesting that they have more projects planned for this year. Additionally, based on information from Sneaker Market, there will be “Green Spark” and “Pinksicle” variations of the LD-1000 coming out as well.
As I put on my new “Sanded Gold” sneakers, I notice the nostalgic co-branding at the heels and tongue tags, reminiscent of “Action Green” and “Phantom.” The golden yellow color catches my eye, and the neon pink accents on the Swooshes and heel tabs add a pop of excitement. Underfoot, I find a reliable off-white midsole and Nike’s iconic waffle sole in black, ensuring both comfort and style as I game it up.
Currently, neither Stüssy nor Nike have announced a release date for the “Sanded Gold” version of the LD-1000 sneaker from Nike and Stüssy. Keep an eye out for updates as we anticipate it to become available towards the end of the year through Nike, Stüssy, and selected retailers at a starting price of $110 USD.
