Instead of NetherRealm Studios having previously incorporated the T-800 Terminator into Mortal Kombat 11, they intend to introduce additional lethal robots from the same series into Mortal Kombat 1.
In the latest update, the T-1000 will be the final addition to Kombat Pack 2, and we’ve unveiled fresh gameplay insights for this character. Additionally, we’ve given a sneak peek at the new combatant joining the Kameo roster – Madam Bo.
T-1000 and Madam Bo
A new trailer from NRS shows off the skills of the liquid metal T-1000 Terminator. Check him out:
Just as anticipated, the T-1000 is known for leveraging its extraordinary shape-shifting capabilities to create a variety of weapons. Interestingly, it can even transform into liquid to navigate through space and swiftly maneuver among its adversaries.
Additionally, he exhibits a temporary invincibility while walking unscathed through his adversaries, neither taking damage nor being pushed aside.
Interestingly, NRS chose not to utilize his character’s facial mimicry talent at all. While this is a key feature of Shang Tsung in the game, the T-1000 only replicates an enemy’s face during its Fatalities.
Madam Bo on the Assist

Concerning Madam Bo, not many anticipated her role as a kameo fighter, however, the audience’s affection for her was so strong that she eventually became a character players could control.
In keeping with her name’s implication, Madam Bo adopts the combat style of the traditional MK character Bo Rai Cho, employing Drunken Fist techniques. Furthermore, she enhances her partner’s power by serving tea, and in a creative twist, she sets enemies ablaze during her Fatal Blow attack, symbolizing her smoking habit.
Could There be a Kombat Pack 3?
Earlier last year, there were rumors circulating about the possible cancellation of additional Kombat Packs for Mortal Kombat 1 due to poor sales, but those rumors have been proven false. In fact, developers are reportedly eager to include even more characters in the game.
As a dedicated gamer diving back into the world of Mortal Kombat, it’s intriguing to see who else might join the fray. However, what’s crystal clear is that familiar faces from past MK games are still very much present, and there’s an abundance of characters they could potentially pull in from Warner Bros.’ impressive intellectual property stable.

Perhaps, instead of focusing solely on 80s characters, there could be an opportunity to introduce some fresh faces from the 2010s. For instance, Pennywise The Clown from the IT films might make a terrifying addition to the MK roster given his shape-shifting abilities and eerie presence. On the other hand, Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen from Dune: Part Two could also be an intriguing choice, considering his propensity for violence. Interestingly, his character’s skin could be interchangeable between Austin Butler’s portrayal in the upcoming film and Sting’s depiction of Feyd from David Lynch’s original Dune.
It’s possible that the developers of the game know which characters they intend to include in Kombat Pack 3 even though it hasn’t been formally announced yet.
On March 25th, I was thrilled to see the T-1000 and Madam Bo join the ranks of MK1! Now, Mortal Kombat 1 is ready for action on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and even Nintendo Switch!
