This venture was a collaboration between Ray and Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, with a mission to prioritize real meat as the main ingredient while incorporating other natural components. However, a lawsuit in 2018 alleged that the brand didn’t always meet these standards.
As stated by The Wrap, Markeith Parks asserted in a class-action suit that the high-end dog food contained glyphosate, a herbicide believed to be hazardous, with the suit arguing that this ingredient was not revealed to consumers. Bobby Modi, their pet food and snacks president, spoke with The Wrap following the report. He clarified that while farmers often use glyphosate, it’s never added as an ingredient in their products. Moreover, all their products adhere to or surpass federal safety standards for food. It is worth mentioning that this lawsuit was dismissed in 2019, with a judge stating that minimal traces of glyphosate are unlikely to deter consumers from purchasing the product.
She has dealt with rumors about her marriage
