The widely-played mobile game, Brawl Stars, invites diehard fans of the movie franchise Toy Story for its upcoming themed seasonal event.
Previously, Brawl Stars – created by the same developers behind Clash of Clans and Boom Beach – has brought in several movie and TV franchises into its gaming world, the latest being SpongeBob Squarepants. Now, they’re taking collaborations a step further with the introduction of the Toy Story takeover within the Starr Park theme park setting. Following the action figure’s capabilities, the game version will include three combat styles: laser, wing, and saber, incorporated into his purple and green outfit. To enhance the in-game character, three characters from Brawl Stars will be transformed into Woody, Bo Peep, and Jessie using unique skins. After all, a Toy Story takeover wouldn’t feel complete without these beloved characters.
In the spirit of the arcade from the beloved Toy Story films, the world of theme parks will welcome the arrival of Pizza Planet Arcade, combining nostalgia with entertainment. Here, participants can engage in a fun quest to gather “Pizza Slices,” which they can exchange for cosmetics and accessories inspired by Toy Story, or save them up to unlock a new Brawler character.
Regarding the newest partnership, Frank Keienburg from Brawl Stars expresses, “Collaborating with Toy Story is perfect for us since teamwork and building relationships are fundamental aspects of Brawl Stars. Initially, there might be rivalry and competition in our game similar to when Buzz Lightyear first appears in Toy Story. However, after the dust settles, this often leads to respect and friendship.
