In the game Neko Atsume 2, one of the elusive cats I’ve been trying to entice has appeared in my yard at last. Now, it’s time to redesign my yard and make it more appealing, so that even more cats will visit and enjoy the toys I place for them, creating a continuous loop of entertaining them.

Over the weekend, I’ll be fiddling with ideas for my backyard makeover, which has a cat theme. At the same time, I’m eager to secure an advance copy of Claws & Chaos, another cat-inspired creation. It features a capybara relaxing in a wooden tub bath and a yuzu lemon perched atop its head, plus a bear dressed as a wizard brandishing what appears to be the Elder Wand. That’s all you need to know!

After being intensely engaged by Jump King, I find myself at a loss for what to play next this week. Perhaps I’ve been approaching my choice incorrectly and should instead opt for something that evokes extreme tranquility instead of excitement. I’m seeking a game that can calm me so much that I feel contented enough to set it aside because I’m so serene. It appears there’s a new game in Early Access called Little Corner Tea House, which could be worth exploring to see if it will become my peaceful sanctuary. Let’s delve into its world and discover whether tea time might indeed transform into me time.

I’ll need to continue my search for a fresh candidate outside of the App Store. This time, I’m inclined to explore a narrative adventure to uncover compelling tales that might be available.

From last week’s score of 132/155 in the Space-Time Smackdown Pack, I’ve managed to inch up to 143/155, now firmly in the challenging zone. Similar to the first three packs, a significant portion of the complexity lies in the EX cards that typically only appear as the concluding card within the packs, except for the “god packs”. Out of the twelve cards I’m aiming for, four are EX cards, which means it’s going to be quite a tough journey.

This weekend I won’t be playing any games as we’re currently moving places!

This coming weekend, I’m diving deep into the Crystal of Atlan beta. Based on what I’ve sampled so far, it seems reminiscent of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, which could be quite engaging. However, I hope it won’t be overly guiding or automated, as an MMO that plays itself seems to miss the point. Instead, I yearn to waste countless hours immersed in a digital realm, not merely observing my character fulfill quests on their own!

This weekend, there’s a strong possibility I’ll give the Epic Games Store a try. My initial preference has always been Steam, but I can’t deny that some fantastic free releases on Epic, like Control and Total War: Troy, have caught my attention. The appeal of Knights of the Old Republic is proving too tempting to resist.

Next week, Black Salt Games’ captivating game Dredge will set sail on mobile devices! I’ll be penning a review of it soon, so I plan to devote most of my gaming hours exploring the freshly-arrived port to see if it lives up to expectations. Fingers crossed that it does! Additionally, I might take a peek at Tribe Nine. Years ago, I watched the entire Prince of Tennis series, and since then, I’ve harbored an enduring affection for sports anime, even though I’ve only seen one. Despite baseball not being my preferred sport, I’m eager to give it a try!

Apart from gaming, I have a 10k running race coming up this Sunday. Instead of staying at home, I’ll be venturing out to test my speed on the designated track. One might wonder why not run around the neighborhood instead? Well, it’s because I won’t receive an attractive medal for that, would I?
