Hey there, welcome to our latest edition of The Wrapp.
Over the weekend, members of our Pocket Gamer team will share what games they’re planning to play. This could give you a peek into some unique activities we engage in when not providing you with the latest gaming news and advice. You might even discover a game you’d like to try!

This upcoming weekend is packed with Pokémon activities for me. On Saturday, we’re hosting a Golden Lure Picnic, where we set up the lures needed to evolve Gimmighoul. Following that, on Sunday, we have an Eevee Community Day. I recently completed my level 49 missions in Pokémon Go, and now I’m working on those for level 50, such as achieving 999 excellent throws. This weekend should help me make progress on that goal.
I’m currently wrapping up the precise collection of the Eevee pack for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. The other day, I successfully traded to complete my Triumphant Light set.
Currently, I’m just short of 1 Space-Time Smackdown, 1 Shining Revelry, 2 Celestial Guardians, and 11 Eevee Grove cards to complete the set. To be honest, this is quite absurd since I usually move on from things when gaps begin appearing in my collection.
In my spare moments outside of using my mobile, I’ve been frequently engaging with Mr Sun’s Hatbox, a game, between tasks. However, I’ve recently completed the New Game+, so I’m now exploring other forms of entertainment. I adore how it encapsulates the mercenary system from Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain into a humorous, platforming roguelike, which is why I might shift to similar ‘mercenary’ games, such as Battle Brothers… A game that I truly wish could be played on mobile devices.

The fresh update about the Pokémon TCG Pocket promo card has made me aware of how far I’ve fallen behind, and it’s largely due to Shogun Showdown. Consequently, I plan to unwind this weekend by venturing out into the world outside, hoping not much has altered since my absence.

I’m really enjoying my cozy setup right now. When I’m not catching up with my hedgehog pals in Hananezumi on my phone, I’ll either be exploring Hello Kitty Island Adventure or diving into the new additions from The Sims 4’s latest update. I can’t wait to figure out how glass walls function, so I might create a large, lavish botanical garden for Oasis Springs.

This coming weekend, Pokémon Go has scheduled two Community Days, one where Shiny Gimmighoul can be obtained. On Saturday, I plan to host a Golden Lure Party to try and evolve a Shiny Gimmighoul, and on both days, I’ll participate in the Eevee Community Day with the aim of catching 40 Shiny Eevees.

I could give the Crash Course Builder a spin to experience a bit of the gameplay style found in Ultimate Chicken Horse. The idea of creating custom endless runner levels is intriguing, and it seems like it could be quite engaging. This exploration will lead me to examine tools suitable for building games on mobile devices or those specifically designed for mobile use. If I delve into platforms such as itch, GitHub, Tap, and others, I might uncover games that were exclusively developed for mobile devices.
Additionally, it’s important for me to go back over some Full Motion Video (FMV) content and explore how games similar to Myst adapt to the mobile platform, showcasing their real-life aesthetics effectively.

I had a great time playing Silver and Blood previously, and since then I’ve been dwelling on it more frequently. This weekend, I plan to dive back into it and explore the characters more deeply. It’s an incredibly captivating game, and compared to other vampire games we’ve played in the past, none have managed to create characters as compellingly unique!
As a gamer, I’ve just grabbed Stray Cat Doors 3. It appears so snuggly and amazing! Can’t wait to dive into it soon!

This weekend is quite busy for me, so I’ll stick to my regular schedule. However, I managed to grab Cultist Simulator when it was on sale last week, and since I have an upcoming flight, I might give it a try for some practice. One thing that can be said about Weather Factory games is that they are always rich in content and challenging to understand, but that’s all part of the enjoyable experience.

regretfully, I won’t get much opportunity to play games over the weekend; instead, I’m going to Lytham Festival today and will spend most of my time working. However, I’ll still find pleasure in the Nonogram app I downloaded recently. Although I may not be an expert, I certainly enjoy solving puzzles.

After perusing the feedback from our App Army about Slayaway Camp 2 this week, I’ve chosen to give it a try myself. Despite its horror setting, it appears quite adorable, and I’m drawn to challenging Sokoban-style puzzles. In my opinion, those two factors make it worth diving in. Plus, I can do so securely, as I’ll be the menacing presence lurking beneath the surface of the lake.
When I’m not embracing my miniature Jason Voorhees persona, I plan to re-engage in TCG Pocket’s competitive environment. It seems that Alcremie has the capability of dealing quite a bit of amusing damage, and my objective is to defeat a Charizard using a sweet-natured creature instead. This will undoubtedly require several attempts, but if we can pull off the Wimbledon Special on this lizard, I’ll be thrilled!
