The Wrapp – Pokemon… it’s always Pokemon

Hey there, welcome to our latest edition of The Wrapp.

Here’s my take: I’m excited to share with you our gaming plans for this weekend! The Pocket Gamer team members have some exciting titles lined up, which may give you a peek into the fun and unique experiences we enjoy when not delivering the latest news and advice. Who knows? You might discover a game that captures your interest too!

Just as anticipated, I’m still struggling with Hearthstone – even with Kerrigan’s cool style, I can’t seem to improve my weak battle strategies. This weekend, I might retreat to Pokemon TCG Pocket for comfort, but I’m also eagerly waiting for “Is This Seat Taken?” which could be a great addition to our Ahead of the Game segment. Let’s hope I can get it soon before I go insane trying to outwit opponents with Zergling Rush in the incorrect Blizzard game.

I’m rather tight-lipped about my mobile gaming plans for the weekend due to a fear of upsetting some restrictive rules, but if all goes well, I’ll be immersed in [redacted]. Additionally, I’ve been feeling the pull to return to Eorzea, so Final Fantasy XIV could very well be on the agenda. Alternatively, I might stick with my customary routine of conquering every challenge Wuthering Waves presents. To be honest, it seems like that one is more likely.

This weekend, I’m not certain about how much gaming time I’ll have. I’ve got catch-ups with friends I haven’t seen in a while and some planned workouts, like a chilly hike in the great outdoors. But, there’s an upcoming game, Black Beacon, that has piqued my interest and I can’t wait for its release!

This weekend, I’ll be wrapping up work early, which means I’ll miss this week’s news. Unfortunately, some significant job cuts have been announced at Hi-Rez Studios, a studio known for developing games like Rogue Company: Elite and Smite among others. Since they were also working on Smite and Paladins, both popular multiplayer games that are now being discontinued, I’m not very hopeful that Elite will make it to market following these layoffs.

Hey there! It seems like it’s always about Pokémon with you. This coming weekend is a Community Day, featuring both Karrablast and Shelmet. To be honest, I don’t usually enjoy double Community Days, but the chance to leave the house and have an adventure is enticing. Given the awful weather we’ve been having lately, let’s hope for some sunshine this weekend!

It seems I’ve found out that Wizadry has created a mobile game that piqued my interest due to its horror-like appearance. The game is called “Wizadry Variant Daphne” and is categorized as “gacha horror,” but the title is quite peculiar. Could Daphne be a wizard or is she a type of wizardry? To unravel this mystery, I’ll have to download the game myself and see what it’s all about. Perhaps the title will become clearer once I dive into the game.

As a devoted fan, my persistent yearning for Castle Crashers on mobile platforms has sparked thoughts about beat ’em up games on mobile devices. Previously, we’ve discussed this topic, but now I find myself delving deeper. Perhaps it’s time to investigate if The Behemoth has ventured into the realm of mobile gaming.

Similar to Catherine, I’ll be hunting down uncommon cards in the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket. I aim to acquire the Skarmory from the Solo Battles and the Chimchar from the Wonder Pick event to maintain my Promo Packs at full capacity. At present, I have collected 117 out of 155 cards for the Space-Time Smackdown pack.

Apart from that, I intend to explore and play Graine, a charming, nostalgic, vibrant platformer that recently arrived in my email. It reminds me of Rayman Origins, which is a fantastic indicator for me as a gamer.

Without a doubt, it’s hard to avoid the Pokemon topic when it comes up in conversations about gaming, but here I am joining the chorus. The Space-Time Smackdown Emblem Event is ongoing right now, and I’m determined to fight my way towards 45 victories to flaunt that stunning black, grey, and golden prize on my profile. However, it’s been a tough grind so far, with only 13 wins under my belt.

I can’t help but talk about Pokemon, as everyone else is doing. The Space-Time Smackdown Event is happening now, and I want to earn enough wins (45) to show off a fantastic black, grey, and gold prize on my profile. It’s been a challenging journey with just 13 victories so far.

Initially, I employed a strategy that centered around Lucario amplifying the attack power of other Fighting-Type Pokemon, but soon found myself growing tired of it. Now, I’m experimenting with a setup involving Darkrai ex and Weezing. My objective is to gradually whittle down my opponent’s Pokemon while simultaneously maintaining the health and safety of my own Pokemon through the use of Potions and Giant Cape. So far, the results haven’t been great, but I adore both Weezing and Darkrai, so I’m determined to see this strategy through.

This coming weekend, I plan on revisiting Path of Exile 2, as I’ve had a brief hiatus from it. It’s been some time since my last gaming session, but with fresh updates rolled out, I’m eager to check out how the game has progressed and delve into the recent modifications.

Instead, let me share that I’ve been longing to step outside and feel some fresh grass beneath my feet. The past days have been rather gloomy, preventing me from savoring the outdoors much. But with the weekend weather forecast showing a glimmer of hope, it seems like the perfect moment to indulge in some outdoor time.
