Thom Browne Introduced His Spring 2025 Collection Over a Downtown Dinner

As a seasoned gamer with a keen eye for fashion and a heart filled with New York nostalgia, I must say that this Thom Browne Spring 2025 event was nothing short of extraordinary. The gathering under The Commerce Inn’s historic arches felt like stepping into a dream, surrounded by icons from various realms, all united by the mastery of one man – Thom Browne himself.

As a long-time follower of fashion and a regular attendee of New York City events, I must say that attending the dinner co-hosted by Cole Escola at The Commerce Inn was a truly unforgettable experience. The presence of celebrities like Teyana Taylor, Martha Stewart, Justin Theroux, and Leon Bridges added an extra level of excitement, but it was the opportunity to be among the first to see Thom Browne’s Spring 2025 line that made the evening truly special.

I had the honor of showcasing my Spring 2025 runway collection in Paris during couture week, but I couldn’t help but feel a special connection to New York Fashion Week,” I told TopMob. “I yearned to unite with my team, friends, and family to present this incredible collection. In search of the ideal setting and people, I found it right here.” Browne’s carefully curated gathering also featured Addison Rae, Alessandro Nivola, Alton Mason, Ella Emhoff, Eva Chen, Ian Bradley, Ib Kamara, Issa Rae, Jordan Roth, King Princess, Lola Tung, and Patti Lupone – a diverse group who posed for photographer Joshua Woods before our delightful meal to create the collection’s stunning lookbook.

For this season, several themes in the collection are inspired by a concept of Americana that might be unique to my imagination, as stated by the renowned New York designer. Notable items from the line include twin jacket-weight cashmere pieces and madras plaid, sported by Dania Gurira and Fred Hechinger respectively. Additionally, Browne emphasized his four-bar emblazoned nylon tracksuits, seen on Mason; cotton suits adorned with patch pockets and needle-stitched details, worn by Nivola and Nicole Brydon; and Theroux’s utility coat crafted using memory tech fabric.

Beneath the soft glow of candles, St. Vincent serenaded New York with a setlist of three songs, expressing her affection in a musical missive. “New York wouldn’t be New York without you, my love,” she crooned. Just as the city isn’t complete without St. Vincent, it wouldn’t be itself without Thom Browne either.
