555™ Loose Fit Jeans embody a timeless denim style, reminiscent of the laid-back fashion trends from the ’90s. Offered in multiple washes to cater to diverse tastes, these jeans were collaboratively designed by stylist and creative director Toreno Winn, known for his innovative approach to fashion. Winn’s style is characterized by his ability to think outside the box, creating daring, viral-worthy moments with unconventional shapes and layers. To demonstrate the 555™ jeans in his unique style, Levi’s® partnered with him, as he also styles notable athletes such as Kyle Kuzma.
As a gamer, I’ve always found that the visual elements – shapes, colors, and textures – have their own language, guiding me through my gaming journey. You see, style isn’t about finding a single formula or solution; it’s more like exploring different philosophical concepts. Just as there are multiple ways to solve a puzzle in a game, there are countless styles to express oneself.
Initially, Winn combined his 555™ jeans with Comme Des Garçons Homme Plus shoes and a button-down shirt layered under a Levi’s® Richmond cardigan, finishing off the ensemble with a hat. This outfit offers a refined twist to casual denim style. His second appearance saw him matching the jeans with the Levi’s® Japanese Denim Utility Trucker, a Spade Trench coat, and Levi’s® Jordan 4’s, emphasizing the texture of denim in his clothing choice.
From another angle, the brand chose Geron McKinley, a multitalented individual hailing from Compton who is a father, model, musician, and philanthropist, to create two unique ensembles reflecting his wide-ranging creative pursuits. The first ensemble adopts a minimalistic style by teaming jeans with a white T-shirt and Work Zone 6” boots. In contrast, the second outfit layers a Trucker jacket beneath the Rockridge Short Puffer and adds comfortable Vans sneakers for practicality.
McKinley, always busy and engaged in various activities along with spending time with his son, values styles that allow him flexibility throughout his day. He stated, “I aimed for practicality, suitable for someone braving the cold streets of California or New York, or a blue-collar worker warming up their truck before heading to work early in the morning.
Last but not least, Levi’s® collaborated with Elujay, an up-and-coming artist and musician from Los Angeles. While Elujay draws inspiration from his musical pursuits, he also prioritizes spending time in nature to maintain a balance. When he isn’t creating music, you can find him arranging wellness treks for his followers.
