As someone who has grown up immersed in Bollywood, witnessing the camaraderie between Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif is truly heartwarming. Their friendship, as evident from their late-night Instagram consultations, transcends the usual Hollywood stereotypes of competition and backstabbing. It’s comforting to know that even in the glamorous world of Bollywood, there are genuine friendships like theirs.

For several years, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, two prominent actresses in Bollywood, have maintained a strong friendship. They were supposed to work together on a film titled “Jee Le Zaraa,” but as of now, production has not begun. Their camaraderie was evident during their joint appearance on a talk show in 2017. Remember when Katrina shared that she often messages Alia late at night just to ask her about Instagram?

In a recent episode of BFFs with Vogue, I had the pleasure of appearing alongside the lovely Katrina Kaif, both dressed in stylish monochrome ensembles. Our host, Neha Dhupia, jokingly mentioned we looked like twins, using the term “twinning”. Intrigued by this phrase, Katrina asked if it was a popular word on Instagram, and I confirmed that it indeed is!

As a lifestyle expert, let me share an insightful tidbit: Late at night, when I find myself grappling with Instagram woes, such as a photo that doesn’t seem to fit quite right, who do I turn to but the ever-helpful Alia. I shoot her a message around 2 or 3 in the morning, asking for guidance on how to make my Insta picture perfect.

The actress known for Merry Christmas posted Alia’s reaction, which was, “You need to make it smaller.” In response, she said, “I already did.” Katrina then commented, “At that moment, I realized it was past 1 am and not the right time to ask questions.”

Regarding the upcoming movie “Jee Le Zaraa,” it was confirmed in 2021. Actresses Alia, Katrina, and Priyanka Chopra posted a road trip film announcement video on their social media accounts. The film is set to be directed by Farhan Akhtar, with screenplay by his sister Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.

Alia posted a photo on Instagram with three friends, captioned: “Three girls started chasing one dream two years ago. The only destination for that dream was the four most enjoyable dream-weavers and storytellers in the industry @faroutakhtar @zoieakhtar @reemakagti1 @ritesh_sid. After 50 Zoom conversations, many shared laughter, and hearts overflowing with love and anticipation, here we are! #JeeLeZaraa” (Loosely translated: “Life goes on”)
