Starring the fantastic Tom Hardy, this film brings us back to his brooding, bone-crushing best. Gareth Evans directs “Havoc,” immersing viewers in a tumultuous criminal underworld. The story follows the resilient detective Walker, portrayed by Hardy, as he battles to safeguard a corrupt politician’s son. Much like other Netflix thrillers that have stirred up a whirlwind of excitement, the ending of “Havoc” leaves us with some unanswered questions. Who Really Killed Tsui in ‘Havoc’?

In the film “Havoc,” the story begins with the brutal killing of Triad boss, Tsui (Jeremy Ang Jones). Initially, it appears that Charlie (Justin Cornwell) and his companion Mia (Quelin Sepulveda) are behind Tsui’s murder. However, due to damning evidence from security cameras, both law enforcement and Tsui’s vengeful mother are hot on the trail of Charlie and Mia. Amidst the turmoil, Walker is given a task by Lawrence Beaumont: to safeguard Charlie as a means of settling an old debt.

Little did I realize, as I stood amidst the chaos of that club shootout, that my very own police peers were the masked figures, akin to demons in hockey gear, which Tsui’s doorman had confessed to Mia about. In a heart-stopping moment, Mia signals me out, pointing to Vincent as one of the men who had orchestrated Tsui’s tragic death during a botched drug deal. Joined by Ching, Vincent, Hayes, and Jake, we had attempted to seize an illicit shipment, but our plans crumbled spectacularly when Charlie and Mia pelted us with a washing machine. In the aftermath of that misstep, the exchange unfolded, leading to Tsui’s demise and the tragic loss of many lives around him.

Do Charlie and Mia Escape at the End of ‘Havoc’?

In the movie “Havoc”, it appears that Charlie and Mia were not actually guilty of murdering Tsui, but rather they had attempted to transport a truckload of drugs concealed within washing machines as a means to settle a debt with Tsui. However, when they thought they were escaping Tsui’s wrath, trouble intensified with the arrival of Vincent Hayes and Jake, who attacked the location, plunging Mia and Charlie into an even more complex predicament than before. Before the police arrived, they sped away from the scene, hoping to begin a new life.

What Happens to Walker in ‘Havoc’?

In the movie Havoc, despite being shot by Vincent, it turns out that Walker survives until the end. Many are grateful for this outcome. However, it seems that Walker has undergone a significant transformation in the story. The film begins with a voiceover where Walker reflects on how a life-altering event can leave one feeling hollow and damaged. His professional life is marred by illegal activities and the death of a police officer. His personal life is also in disarray, as he appears to be a broken man after losing everything. The killing of Tsui and Lawrence’s insistence that Walker protect Charlie only exacerbates his troubles further.

In a manner typical of Tom Hardy characters, Walker persists through the ordeal. He evades multiple gunfire and intense fight sequences until he confronts Vincent directly. Having severed all connections to his past, a somber Walker suggests that Ellie should apprehend him.
