As a proud resident of The Bay Area myself, I can wholeheartedly appreciate the passion and authenticity that Tommy Bogo pours into his TOMBOGO label. His latest capsule collection is a testament to the deep-rooted connection between San Francisco and Los Angeles, a bond that’s only grown stronger this year, thanks in no small part to Kendrick Lamar’s album.
Tommy Bogo consistently showcases his love for San Francisco by incorporating it into the designs of his brand, TOMBOGO. As the founder of this up-and-coming label, Bogo often wears his heart on his sleeve – quite literally – in numerous collections that reflect his hometown pride. Following a successful year, Bogo has assembled a collection of “garments that were by [his] side during the significant moments of 2024” as part of TOMBOGO’s second-to-last capsule release of the year.
Led by Guapdad 4000 and Buddy, this collection harmoniously blends the values and styles of its San Francisco-based label with those of its nearby region, 350 miles south of Los Angeles.

According to Bogo’s statement, the connection between the Bay Area and Los Angeles is particularly vibrant at present, notably after Kendrick Lamar released his album. Being based in Los Angeles, Bogo has sensed this energy throughout the year. He mentions Guap, who was a part of his SS24 Paris fashion show and campaigns, as well as Buddy, a loyal friend and advocate for the brand, who has supported it at numerous events and gatherings during the year. In essence, these two individuals form a powerful Bay Area to Los Angeles duo, with both of them standing by Bogo’s side.
The capsule is a fresh take on the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 line, with two unique button-up shirts at the forefront. One shirt showcases a TOMBOGO logo cutout pattern and silver cuff links on the sleeves, while the other sports 26 pockets on the chest and silver buttons running down the middle. Two types of pants continue this theme with their own cutouts and pocket designs. The Vegan Leather Moto Jacket and its matching pants also catch the eye as notable pieces.
