TON Society, HumanCode to use palm scanning for identity confirmation

Partnership formed between the TON Society and AI firm HumanCode for introducing a system to confirm identities.

Based on the latest update from the TON Society, a total of 1 million TON, equivalent to approximately $5.9 million, has been set aside as an incentive for carrying out verifications. These funds will be dispersed among members of the TON Society who successfully confirm their identities through providing a palm print. Membership in this community can be attained by linking a wallet to join.

The price of Toncoin (TON) tokens surged by 10.5%, reaching a new peak of $5.90 – an all-time high. This growth led to a market capitalization of $20.2 billion for Toncoin.

Furthermore, TON developers unveiled plans in March for giving out 30 million TON tokens as incentives for individuals to join ecosystem initiatives. The team started distributing these coins to selected users by April 1.

Last year, Worldcoin, a cryptocurrency initiative, presented a method for personal identification using iris scanning technology to distribute tokens at no cost.
