As I write this with tears in my eyes, I hope you understand that this message is born out of love and fear for your wellbeing, as we don’t want to lose you prematurely. I love you, Dad. We haven’t spoken much recently, but I can confirm that I have been sober for over a year and a half, and I feel fantastic.
