As a gamer and someone who has followed the entertainment industry for years, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Tracie Brennan. Her contributions to reality television, particularly her long tenure with Al Roker Entertainment, left an indelible mark on the industry.
Tracie Brennan, a long-time executive at Al Roker’s production company, passed away on Saturday at a hospital in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. She fought bravely against ALS and was 64 years old.
In 2005, Brennan began working at Al Roker Entertainment in the role of vice president for production and operations. Later on, in 2013, she was promoted to the position of executive vice president.
While she was there, she was involved in various reality shows including “The Show,” “The D.E.A.,” “Coast Guard Alaska,” “Life Aid: A Story of Hope,” “ChefShock,” “Side-By-Side” for Northwell Health, and the forthcoming “Weather Hunters” on PBS Kids.
Over the weekend, I sadly lost a cherished friend and valuable member of Al Roker Entertainment. Tracie Brennan had been by my side for over two decades. Unfortunately, she couldn’t overcome her battle with ALS.
In May, friends and colleagues participated in an ALS Walk to raise money for her care.
