As a long-time fan of Tracker, I’ve been hooked since its debut and can’t get enough! The latest season is keeping me on the edge of my seat with the potential romance brewing between Fiona Rene’s Reenie and Jensen Ackles’ Russell. While Reenie seems to have some high standards, I can’t help but root for these two!

In the second season of “Tracker,” airing in 2024, there are hints that Fiona Rene’s character, Reenie, might develop a romantic relationship. Although it appeared in the first season that there could be feelings between her and Justin Hartley’s Colter, it seems that she may be romantically involved with someone else within the Shaw family. Jensen Ackles’ character, Russell, has shown interest in Reenie, and Rene herself has given an intriguing insight into their relationship dynamic.

In the initial season, Ackles first appeared as the estranged brother Russell, a character who played a crucial role in exploring the Shaw family history and the circumstances surrounding their father’s demise. This season, Russell reappeared in Episode 2 to assist his sibling, and later, Reenie expressed to Colter that there was no romantic involvement between them and Russell. Rene recently clarified the current relationship status of these two characters to People, and it’s easy to understand why Reenie might hold her ground with such high expectations.

It’s undeniable that he’s charismatic and good-looking, but Reenie sets her expectations quite high. They might be too high, in fact. Frankly, I’m not sure if anyone could meet her standards, let alone him. He’d have to put in a lot of effort to reach a point where she might consider it. Unless it was an exceptionally wild night and she… you know, made exceptions.

Watching Reenie and Russell interact promises an interesting dynamic, given the hints suggesting a possible attraction between Reenie and Colter. However, it seems challenging for Reenie to succumb to anyone soon, as she maintains high standards and takes time when selecting a potential partner.

That being said, having Russell and Reenie together would make for another good excuse to bring Ackles back from time to time, but he is pretty busy with other projects, including his upcoming Prime series Countdown. You never know what could happen, though.

While Reenie is often serious and dedicated to helping clients like Colter, she doesn’t shy away from enjoying herself. Fiona Rene pointed out that even though Reenie works a lot, there should be moments for her to let loose, and we could use more of that on the show. In her words:

Workaholic women, there’s gotta be a moment where they let loose. I would love to see it.

As we’re only a few episodes into Season 2, there’s plenty more depth to explore about Reenie and all the other characters. Moreover, Ackles will appear in numerous episodes this season despite his hectic schedule, which means Russell’s return could stir up some intriguing developments. Let’s see how it unfolds!
